The Scandal of Forgiveness: Grace Put to the Test

I just finished reading this one and all I can say is WOW. This short book details the role of forgiveness in our lives as Christians and tells incredible real life stories of forgiveness and also of unforgiveness. It made me think, it made me smile, it made me cry. Five out of five stars, everyone should read it.

Crazy Love: Overwhelmed by a Relentless God

Francis Chan

I read this book years ago and I am going through it again as part of a small group study. I remembered it being good, but I didn't remember it being this good. It's great for small groups as it generates lots of discussion and is very readable. It is both practical and full of wonder. I think if you have grown up in the church it is an especially great read as it really makes you think about things you have probably taken for granted. But, truly, everyone should read it. Five out of five stars.
