Welcome to Singing Harmony Ministries! My name is Samara and I am so thankful you are here.  Singing Harmony was born from two of my greatest passions: studying the word of God and writing.  Every week I will share writings on truths from scripture, christian living, or simply what is on my heart.  I will also be uploading various bible study tools, resources, book recommendations, and more.  I look forward to learning and discovering with you and sharing encouragement along the way.

Why Singing Harmony?

You may be asking yourself, why the name Singing Harmony?  The name come from the following poem I wrote: 

Let my life be

An echo of your majesty

As you write a cosmic melody

May I be found singing harmony

 

The idea behind the name is that God has written the story, the melody if you will, of this whole world past, present, and future.  This melody is one of redemption and grace.  In His infinite love and mercy He has invited us to join in, to harmonize with what he has written.  I am not much of a musician but I love the illustration of melody and harmony.  Without the melody there is no harmony.  We must have our eyes fixed on Christ, continually listening as we sing the song of our lives, so our harmony may point to and support the melody written by our Father in heaven.
